Diagnostics The Diagnostics screen (Figure 3-12) allows test and maintenance functions to be
performed on the T1 network and the DTE ports. The network interface of the unit
recognizes in-band and FDL out- of- band loopback requests. The DSU MP also
recognizes local testing and remote network management loopback test
configurations (as shown in Figure 3-13).
Ports in alarm are shown on the DTE Alarms list. Figure 3-13 shows the loops and
BERTS that can be performed on the 3060-10 and DSU MP ports. The 3060 -10
and DSU MP also support other loops for other interfaces as shown in Table 3-3
and Figure 3-14.
