6.0 LED Function

7.0 Application examples

The AT-commands are used to configure the modems. The AT-commands can be sent from
a terminal or a PC with a terminal program (Hyperterminal, Procomm etc.) Make sure the
number of data bits is the same in both the modem and the terminal. Factory default in
GS-01 is 8,N,1 and the data rate is set to automatic baud rate detection.

These tests have been made with PC to modem cables, fully wired.
The modems/adapters have been factory default before any commands have been sent.

To restore factory settings type AT&F followed by AT&W.

To be able to get to the command mode when the modem is online, type +++
(no Enter) and wait. An OK will appear on the screen.
Type ATH to hang up. Type ATO to go online.
The connection can be shut down from both sides.
Hint! Always check the Signal Quality with AT+CSQ before dialling (See 8.3 b).
