Editing Event Details for primary events
5 In the Event Details pane, click the Details 2 tab and edit the following:
Duration
(All types)
Type the total amount of time allocated for the event to play. Events
with a duration of 24 hours or longer are not supported.
Note: Incorrect drop-frame timecodes are automatically rounded up
to the next valid drop-frame timecode value; for example, 00:01:00;00
would be rounded up to 00:01:00;02.
In Transition
(All types)
Select the type of scene change affect to apply to the beginning of
this event. You have the following choices:
•
: it switches from one event to another instantly (Cut)
•
: creates a cross-fade between the two events where the
incoming event merges and replaces the outgoing event (Mix)
•
: the outgoing event fades to black and the incoming event fades
in (Fade and Fade or V-Fade).
•
: the outgoing event switches to black and the incoming event
fades in (Cut and Fade).
•
: the outgoing event fades to black and the incoming event
appears instantly (Fade and Cut).
Note: Since two stills cannot play at the same time, you cannot use
Mix as a transition between two stills in the schedule.
Transition

Type the total amount of time allocated for the transition to
complete.
Physical input
(Live)
Select the SDI port for the live feed. Click:

: to use the SDI B port
A live feed is streamed from the SDI A or SDI B port on the SSP-3801
card registered to the channel’s device.
Router Source
(Source)
Select the router source for the source event:
• Click the
Src
button.

Option
Procedure
Event GUID
Displays the Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) for the media file.
Asset Location
Displays the location from which the media file is downloaded to the
device prior to playout.
Content Advisory
To change the rating:
1 Click
Edit
to open the Content Advisory selection dialog box.
2 In the
Rating system
list, click the rating system you want to
employ.
3 In the
Rating
list, click the rating.
4 Click
Save Changes
