Administrating the Service
Viewing the status and response time for the service
To begin receiving the daily transmission report:
1 In the top menu, click Home.
2 Click Request Daily TX Report. The report will be sent to the email address configured
in your User Preferences.
Viewing the status and response time for the service
The Support Dashboard tab contains information about your GV STRATUS Playout service
and is intended as a tool to be used when the designated system administrator is in contact
with GV STRATUS Playout technical support. It includes the following information:
• Service Status: communicates information about the state of the GV STRATUS Playout
service. It may also display news about upcoming features or hints and tips about using
the service.
• Known Issues: informs the designated system administrator about the top issues
identified in the service that have already been communicated to the STRATUS
Monitoring team.
• Cloud Response Time: displays the response time of the GV STRATUS Playout service in
milliseconds and a trend graph of the response time over the last 24 hours.
To view the Support Dashboard:
1 In the top menu, click Home.
2 Click the Support Dashboard tab.
3 To view the details of a known issue, click the row containing the issue in the Known
Issues table. The details are displayed below the Known Issues table.
4 To zoom into the Cloud Response Time graph, click in the graph and scroll using the
mouse wheel to increase or decrease the zoom level. To pan, click in the graph and drag
your cursor left or right as desired.
Viewing active alerts in the service
The Active Alerts tab lists the current alerts occurring on the devices in the service. Each
alert is described in a table showing the time the alert was raised, the level of the alert, the
type of alert, the name of the device, and details of what is causing the alert. An indicator
appears on the Active Alerts tab when new alerts are added to the list.
You can also receive email notification of the alerts in the service. For more information, see
Configuring Your Audio and Email Notifications
To view the Active Alerts:
1 In the top menu, click Home.
2 Click the Active Alerts tab.
