Appending the events from a schedule to another schedule
When you append the events from a schedule to another schedule, the references to the
original schedule are not retained. If changes are made to the original schedule, they will
not be updated in the schedules where the events were appended.
To append events:
1 In the top menu, click Schedule Edit.
2 In the left pane, click the schedule you want to edit.
3 Click Append Events.
4 In the Select Schedule dialog box, click the schedule that contains the events you
want.
5 Click Select.
The events from the selected schedule are appended after the last schedule or event in
the schedule grid.
Displaying a different timezone in the schedule grid
You can change the schedule grid so it displays the schedule in the timezone in which it will
be aired. The timezone is configured as part of a channel type and each channel is assigned
a channel type. By changing the channel type selected for the schedule grid, you can
quickly convert the dates and times displayed in the schedule grid to its configured
timezone. The selected channel type is not saved with the schedule. It only affects how the
dates and time are shown in the schedule grid.
To change the timezone:
1 In the top menu, click Schedule Edit.
2 In the left pane, click the schedule you want to view.
3 In the Channel Types list at the bottom of the schedule grid, select a channel type with
the timezone that you want to use.
Emptying a schedule
When you empty a schedule, you remove all the events that it contained. The schedule is
not deleted and remains in the schedule grid, but it is cleared of all events.
To empty a schedule:
1 In the top menu, click Schedule Edit.
2 In the left pane, click the schedule you want to empty.
3 Click Empty Schedule.
4 In the Empty Schedule dialog box, click Yes.
Deleting a schedule
When you delete a schedule, it is completely removed from the service.
