Using an FTP File
Contact Technical Support for more information on using FTP to upgrade the
NewsShare NAS software.
Using a Local File
If you choose Local in the Update Software window, the local Update Software
window appears:
1. Type in the full pathname or click Browse . Browse to the location of the
TGZ file on a CD or any local directory. Select the TGZ file.
2. Click Open .
3. In the appliance window, click Save . Software upgrades take several
minutes. The system reboots after the upgrade finishes.
