When you need to discardyour battery, contact

rechargeable batteries.
The computer doesn’t work properly with
the AC power adapter.
Make sure the AC power adapter is
securely connected to the computer and
the electrical outlet.
Make sure the electrical outlet is
supplying power. If the outlet is working,
there may be something wrong with your
AC power adapter.
The LCD Screen Is Blank
Use the brightness and contrast controls to
adjust the screen display. See “Adjusting
the Screen Controls” in Chapter 1.
You may have switched your display to
external monitor mode. Press
Fn F10 until
you see the display on your LCD screen.
Make sure the default display selected in
Setup and the settings in the video display
control panel utility are correct for your
system. See “Using Video Drivers and
Utilities” in Chapter 6.
