EQ

The RMV's EQ (Equalizer) section is located to the right of the Filter Envelope section. It
consists of 4 independent parametric equalizers.

The EQs are designed to work over different frequency ranges. The Lo EQ is located on
the left of the EQ section, while the Hi EQ is located on the right of the EQ section. In
between the Lo and Hi EQs are two variable-Q Mid EQs. Note that the two Mid EQ stages
are arranged in series.

The features of the three different EQ types are described below:

Lo Frequency:

The Lo Frequency control is used to set the frequency at which the
EQ operates. A range of 20 Hz to 1000 Hz is available.

Lo Gain:

The Lo Gain control is used to set the amount of gain that is applied
to the selected frequency. Note that the gain can be positive or
negative. A positive gain corresponds to boosting the signal while a
negative gain corresponds to cutting the signal. A range of -oo dB to
+18 dB is available.

Mid Frequency:

The Mid Frequency control is used to set the frequency at which the
EQ operates. A range of 20 Hz to 11000 Hz is available.

Mid Gain:

The Mid Gain control is used to set the amount of gain that is applied
to the selected frequency. Note that the gain can be positive or
negative. A positive gain corresponds to boosting the signal while a
negative gain corresponds to cutting the signal. A range of -oo dB to
+18 dB is available.

Mid Q:

The Q (Quality) control sets the bandwidth of the EQs boost/cut. A
large value means that a wider bandwidth is affected by the filter. A
range of 0.33 to 12 is available.
