1.1. GENERAL SAFETY
 familiarise yourself with the applications, limitations, and potential hazards of the lux meter.
 Keep the lux meter clean and in good condition.
 If using to assess bright lights, apply common sense regarding eye protection.
 DO NOT operate the meter in a flammable or explosive atmosphere.
 DO NOT get the lux meter wet or use in damp or wet locations or areas where there is condensation.
 DO NOT use the lux meter for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.
 DO NOT allow untrained persons to operate the lux meter.
 DO NOT operate the lux meter when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
