Thank you for purchasing the Planet Layer 2 Managed Switch. In the following
section, the term “Switch” means the Layer 2 Managed Switch.
The PLANET Layer 2 Managed Switch comes with one of the following models.
● WSD-800: 8-Port 10/100Mbps Managed Ethernet Switch
● WGSD-910: 8-Port 10/100Mbps + 1 Gigabit TP/SFP Combo Managed Switch
● WGSD-1022C: 8-Port 10/100Mbps + 2 Gigabit TP/SFP combo Managed Switch
● WSW-2401A: 24-Port 10/100Mbps + 1 Fiber Slot Managed Switch
● WGSW-2840: 24-Port 10/100Mbps + 4G TP/SFP combo Managed Switch
● WGSW-5240: 48-Port 10/100Mbps + 4G TP/SFP Combo Managed Switch
Upon open the box of the Switch and carefully unpack it. The box should contain
the following items:
> The Switch x 1
> This Quick Installation Guide x 1
> User’s manual CD x 1
> Power Cord x 1
> RS-232 Cable x 1
> Rubber feet x 4
> Rack mount accessory x 1
If any item is found missing or damaged, please contact your local reseller
for replacement.
