Connect the ASCII Terminal software to Port 1 (19200 baud rate). Change the
current driver from a: to c: by entering "c:" at the DOS prompt. Then, run the RY
program by entering "ry" at the DOS prompt:
At this point, you should see the characters "C" and "G" being showed on the
screen. This means that the module is ready to receive data. The module will
wait approximately 1 minute for the user to select and transfer the file.
In a case that you do not send the file within 1 minute, the following message will
appear:
"Receive Failed".
Step 4
Using the menu bar in the ASC Terminal software you are using, select the
"Send File…" option.
Select the BASIC program you want to send and select the Ymodem protocol.
The MVI56-BAS module only supports the Ymodem protocol, so it is required
that the ASCII terminal used in this procedure also supports DH-485.
