Non-standard film sizes
Place the film directly onto the scanner’s glass document table,
making sure the glossy (smooth) side of the film is facing down.
If the reflective document mat is installed in the Transparency
Unit, remove it. Close the Transparency Unit.
Note:
❏ When you place the film directly on the document table, make sure
to set the focus position to 0.0 in EPSON TWAIN Pro.
❏ An area 2±1.5mm from the horizontal and the vertical edges of the
document table glass will not be scanned.
Scanning normal documents
To scan normal documents with the Transparency Unit installed,
always insert the reflective document mat included with this unit.
Also, make sure you remove the transparency guide from the
scanner's document table.
Insert the reflective document mat as described below.
1. Open the Transparency Unit and remove the transparency
guide from the scanner’s document table if necessary.
