This system accommodates the PAL and NTSC
systems. When you play back an NTSC disc with
the video signal type set to “PAL. 576I”,
“PAL. 576P”, “PAL. 720P”, “PAL.1080I” or
“PAL.1080P” (refer to page 11), the NTSC video
signal is converted to the PAL60 signal and output.

Region code of DVD VIDEO
DVD VIDEO players and DVD VIDEO discs have
their own region code numbers. This system can
play back a DVD VIDEO whose region code
number includes the system’s region code, which
is indicated on the rear panel of the main unit.
Examples:

If a DVD VIDEO with an improper region code
number is loaded, playback cannot start.

• On some DVD VIDEOs, VCDs, SVCDs or DivX

files, their actual operation may be different
from what is explained in this manual. This is
due to the disc/file programming and disc/file
structure, not a malfunction of this system.
