The IP address is set beforehand to be assigned
automatically. To set an IP address manually,
follow the steps below.

Open the [Settings] window and select
[Monitor].
The [Monitor] window appears.

Select [Settings] to the right of [Home-
Wired LAN].
The [Home-Wired LAN] window appears.

Enter the necessary information supplied by
your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and
select [Set].
Notes
• Enter information provided by your Internet
Service Provider (ISP), such as IP addresses,
manually. If the information you enter is
incorrect, the monitor cannot connect to the
Internet.
• Do not enter the same IP address as the base
station. If you enter the same IP address, the
monitor and base station are unable to
communicate and you cannot connect to the
Internet or watch TV or video.

Select [Back].
The [Monitor] window reappears.

Select [Wired LAN] under [Home].
The message “Configuring... Please wait.”
appears.
To watch pictures via wired LAN, go on to
the “Base station Address” section.
The base station IP address must be input
correctly to watch TV and video in Home-Wired
LAN mode. If you connect to the base station
once in Home-Wireless mode, the IP address for
the base station can be automatically acquired.
You can confirm the acquired IP address by
selecting [Settings] for Home-Wired LAN on the
[Base station Address] screen.
Note
If does not appear, switch the connection
mode to [Home-Wireless] and then back to [Home-
Wired LAN].
Connecting the monitor
After finishing the wired LAN setup, connect the
monitor to the Ethernet port on a wall or on a
router with a LAN cable (not supplied).
z Tip
You should use a straight-wired LAN cable to connect
the monitor. Most computers connect with the same
type of cable.
Note
Depending on the performance of your router or hub,
when enjoying TV or video via wired LAN, the
monitor may not be able to communicate correctly and
other devices connected to the Internet may be
adversely affected. When connecting by wired LAN,
be sure to use a 10/100Base-T router or hub.
