Creating an Alias
Component key (ALIAS)
The Alias Component key to be created
in this section is a Component key that
refers to the setting contents of another
Component key and work the same as
the reference key. If you create an Alias
Component key, function keys (Alias
function keys) that have the same
function as the function keys in the
reference component are also created.
Using this Alias Component function,
you can assign the function keys of
various AV components (alias keys) to
one Component display. A Component
key that has this kind of function is called
a Multi Component key.
The MULTI key of the Label keys is a
preset multi-component key for TV and
DVD. The POWER key is for TV, and
other keys are for DVD.

While pressing COMMANDER
OFF, press MUTING.

Press the Mode Display key (SET)
twice to display “ALIAS” on one
of the Label keys.

Press the ALIAS key.
“ALIAS” appears on the Mode
Display key.

Select the component you want to
create alias key to press the
component button or the Label
key.
(To change the Label keys, press the
OTHER button repeatedly.)

Note on the flashing display
The keys or buttons that are already preset
for the component flash twice while those
that are not preset flash once.
