DVR Netviewer: Viewing Your DVR Using a Web Browser

Internet Explorer

You must port forward
your router before you can
connect to your system

using a web browser (e.g.
Internet Explorer)

!

Remote viewing using Internet Explorer is supported on
Internet Explorer versions 6 and higher. The instructions
below describe how to connect to your DVR on Internet
Explorer 6 through 8. See page 79 for instructions
specific to Internet Explorer 9 and 10.

To view your DVR using Internet Explorer:

Open Internet Explorer and enter your DVR’s DDNS
address
or IP address in the address bar.

NOTE:

Run as administrator

When opening Internet Explorer, it is
recommended to right-click the Internet
Explorer icon from your Start Menu or Desktop,
and select Run as administrator. This will allow
you to use the remote back up feature to save
video files from your DVR on your computer hard
drive.

In the ID and Password fields, enter your remote
access ID
(default: 9) and password (default:
3333) and click Login.

• If you enter the incorrect ID or password, the

login page will refresh and the fields will clear.

You must install the ActiveX

plug-in for DVR

Netviewer to function. Click the attention bar at
the top of the main page and select Install this
Add-on for All Users on This Computer...
. DVR
Netviewer will reset.

Click the ActiveX attention bar

Select Install this Add-on for All Users on
This Computer...

Re-enter your ID and password and click Login. An installation window opens.

Click Install
