Recording

Manual Recording

Recording is possible at any time except during the setup
operation. The video supplied to the input terminal is
recorded with the recording mode, field rate and picture
quality preset in the REC SETUP menu.

1. Press the [● REC] button to start recording.
2. Press the [■ STOP] button to stop recording.

Press the LCD button to the right or left to toggle between
the mode and capacity displays. The displays change
both on the LCD and on the monitor while recording.
Press the LCD button upward or downward to display the
[RECTIME INFO.]. The remaining time and the total avail-
able recording time are displayed on the LCD.

Internal Timer Recording

Internal timer recording begins when the reserved start time
comes, and continues until the reserved end time comes.
The reservations are made in the INTERNAL TIMER REC
menu (page 29).

1. Press the LCD button downward to display [Timer REC]

on the LCD.

2. Press the LCD button to the right or left to select [INT],

[EXT] or [OFF]. The default value is OFF.

[OFF]:

Reservations are made but not implemented.

[INT]:

The internal timer triggers recording at the

reserved times.

[EXT]:

Enables power-on recording with the use of an

external timer switch. Power-on recording is
detailed as follows.

LCD CONTRAST

For power-on recording select [EXT] in the above procedures

with the LCD button. This enables the unit to start recording

every day at a specific time with use of a timer switch that

controls the AC mains supplied to the unit. Make certain to

keep the POWER switch on the rear of the unit set to ON.

Note:

When [EXT] is selected for power-on recording,

reserved recording is disabled.

Alarm Recording

Power-on Recording

Alarm recording starts when an externally connected sen-
sor is turned on, or the built-in VMD (Video Motion Detector)
is activated.
