The pictures copied to the
CompactFlash card are not the ones
displayed on the monitor.

Setup menus supplied from the Matrix
Switcher cannot be recorded.

Contact your dealer for replacement of

the fan.

Connect the video monitor directly with

the WJ-HD100.

Phenomenon

TROUBLESHOOTING

The monitor receives the multiscreen-

out signal from the video multiplexer.

The WJ-HD100 does not record non-

interlace video.

This may happen when the video multi-

plexer is connected with CAMERA SW

OUT, and the field rate is set to 10 fps

or faster.

VMD does not function in playback.

This may happen with some monitors.

This may happen with some monitors,

WJ-HD100 records up to 234H per

field.

Ventilation is blocked.

Failure of cooling fan

Set the field rate to 7.5 fps or slower.

Stop playback.

Adjust the scan size of the video moni-

tor.

Remove obstacles placed near ventila-

tion openings and the fan.

The recorded channel # differs from the
original supplied from the video multi-
plexer.

VMD does not function.

T & D or status display is pushed out of
the display range on the monitor.

The bottom portion of the playback pic-
ture on the monitor is darker.

Error message appears saying “TEM-
PERATURE ERROR SYSTEM
STOPPED”.

What to do

Alarm recording does not function in a
system including a video multiplexer.

Set the ALARM OUT switch (SW3)

inside the video multiplexer to O.C.

referring to the manual.

The ALARM IN signal has the wrong
polarity for the WJ-HD100.
