• Set the Cell Selector at 20, connect a voltage source set to

approximately 21V and start the Charger-Analyzer in AUTO
Discharge

Adjust for a Discharge CUT-OFF (Capacity Failure) at 20.0 volts.

• NOTE: This step requires that the Overvoltage cut-off on the

MONITOR circuit board be previously calibrated.

9.2.3.3. CLOCK-TIMER

• No adjustments on this board.
• Older versions of the Charger-Analyzer use two circuit boards

associated with timer functions: The Timer Board 9879903010 and
the Clock Display Board 9879903009.

• Newer Superserseders use a single Clock-Timer Board

9879903109. In either case, there are no adjustments to perform.

9.2.3.4. (Blank)

9.2.3.5. CURRENT CONTROL (see fig 11).

NOTE: Use the hook at pin 14 as ground reference for voltage
measurements (test point E0).

9.2.3.5.1.

R29 - 10 VOLT ADJUSTMENT.

• Static test (no battery or Calibrator).
• Adjust for a reading of 10.000V ±0.003V at E7.
• NOTE: Newer versions of this circuit board have a

fixed 10V reference (no adjustment). Verify that it
reads 10V ±0.005V.

9.2.3.5.2.

R28 - LOW CURRENT CALIBRATE.

• Connect a battery and start the Charger-Analyzer in

Single Rate.

• Adjust for a reading of 0.9 to 1.0 AMP at the current

digital panel meter, with the topping charge current
potentiometer set for 1 AMP (010).

9.2.3.5.3.

R25 - HIGH CURRENT CALIBRATE

• Connect a battery and start the Charger-Analyzer in

Dual Rate.

• Adjust for a reading of 25.0 AMPS at the current

digital panel meter, with the main current
potentiometer set for 25.0 AMPS (250).
