Replacing the Lamp unit

The life of the lamp used on this projector is 1400 hours.(This may shorten due to the
conditions of use.)
The lamp is designed to forcibly turn off in the case of a lamp possibly breaking if it is used
beyond the lamp usage of 1500 hours.

When the lamp is used for 1400 hour or more, replace the entire lamp unit (sold separately)
in the following instances. When the projected image becomes dark or projected colors are
unsatisfactory, the lamp has reached the end of its life. When this happens, replace the
entire lamp unit.

● When images are displayed as follows when the lamp is lit: (This appears when the lamp

is used for 1400 hours or more.)

● When the Lamp usage time (total lamp usage time) in the menu screen reaches 1400

hours : The LAMP indicator blinks.
You can check the lamp used time, which is displayed in the "Setting" menu. (Refer to
page E-34.)

● When the lamp does not light, and the LAMP indicator is blinking : (When the lamp is

used for 1500 hours or more.)

allow the unit to cool for at least one hour.

• Do not touch the lamp with the hand. Touching the lamp in this way results in reduced brightness or reduced lamp
