The parameters in this group are the same as the parameters that you can edit in the Tone screen.

For an explanation of the parameters and their values, refer to “Customizing the V-Piano’s sounds” (p. 48).

ORIGINAL

This screen shows the name of the preset tone that was the basis of the customized tone.

* You cannot change the preset tone that was the basis of the customized tone.

Tone EQ

Each tone allows you to apply an equalizer to specific regions (“Zones”). This is called the Tone EQ. For each tone you can specify four

Zones, and make different settings for each Zone.

Of the four Zones, the settings of Zone 4 will take priority.

Each Zone has the following parameters.

Press the [F1 (ZONE)] button to switch between Zones.

Switch

OFF, ON

Turns this ZONE’s EQ on/off.

Gain

-12–+12 dB

Adjusts the gain.

Frequency

16–16000 Hz

Adjusts the center frequency.

Q

0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, 8.0

Adjusts the bandwidth.
Higher values will narrow the frequency range.

Key Range

A0–C8

Sets the key range of this ZONE.
