Moving the selected track – Move

• You can execute this function only when the input

source is MD and an MD is stopped or paused.

• To cancel the operation, press MD .

Moving a track to a different group

If you move a track, the track may end up belonging to
a different group. See the example below.

Insert the MD, then select MD as
the source.

Use a recordable MD with the record-
protect tab closed.

Turn MULTI JOG to select a track
to move.

Press EDIT/CLEAR/NO and turn
MULTI JOG until “Move?”
appears in the display.

Press MULTI JOG.

The destination track number appears,
pointed to by an arrow.

Destination track number

If necessary, turn MULTI JOG to
change the destination track
number.

Press MULTI JOG to move.

“Complete” appears in the display.
The selected track is moved and all the
tracks are renumbered from the top.

The selected number will
become this number.
