Switching Subtitles
Many DVD Video discs have subtitles in one or
more languages. The case usually tells you which
subtitle languages are available. You can switch sub-
title languages anytime during playback.
NOTE: Top Menu / Disc Menu
• Some discs allow you to change the subtitle only from the
disc's menu. Press TOP MENU button or DISC MENU but-
ton to display the disc's menu.
DVD-RW (VR) DVD-V
1 During playback, press DISPLAY button repeated-
ly until the DVD status display menu appears.
2 Select icon using s /B buttons, then press
ENTER button.
Subtitle menu will appear.
3 Select a desired subtitle language using K/L
buttons, then press ENTER button.
Subtitle will be displayed in the selected lan-
guage.
When selecting "OFF", subtitle will disappear.

Switching Camera Angles
DVD-V
Some DVD Video discs feature scenes shot from
two or more angles, check the case of the DVD
for details:
it should be marked with an angle icon if it con-
tains multi-angle scenes.

During playback, press DISPLAY button repeated-
ly until the DVD status display menu appears.
Angle icon appears when a switching camera
angle is available.
2 Select icon using s /B buttons, then press
ENTER button.
Angle will switch each time you press ENTER
button.
