Math Coprocessor Option
Disassembling the Computer
Disassemble the computer as follows to gain access to the coprocessor chip socket located
on the computer's main board.
1. Turn off the computer, close the display/cover, and disconnect the AC
Adapter and any other external devices connected to the computer.
2. Remove the internal battery pack from the computer as described in
Chapter 3 of this manual.
3. Carefully lay the computer upside down on a padded work surface and
remove the four recessed screws from the corners of the bottom panel.
4. Remove the three recessed screws from the corners of the battery
compartment.
