How It Looks with Indexes

Selecting an Index and Changing the Time

An Index is a point in a Conference
that a User can click on to advance the
Conference to.
Only Editors to Conferences can add
Indexes.
Every Conference should use Indexes as
a time saving device for users to find the
content they want quickly and easily.
Indexes can be selected by clicking the
select box to the left of the Index.
When an Index is selected, a small
vertical line will be displayed above the
Time Line to indicate the position of the
Index.

Moving Existing Markers

Adding Indexes into the
timeline is done by clicking

the scrubber bar is correct
place while the clip is playing.
The index will be added into
the list and given an initial
name of Index 1, Index 2 etc.

The only way to change the
position of an Index is to
change its time.
Change the time (format is
hh:mm:ss) in the time field and
press enter.

Times entered as seconds will
be converted.

Example:

65 will be converted to 00:01:05
