Running base

2.

Power cord

PACKAGE 2/2
3.

Handrails

4.

Handlebar/meter unit

5.

Assembly kit (contents are marked with an * in the

spare part list): keep the assembly tools, as you may need
them e.g. for adjusting the equipment

The directions left, right, front and back are defined as
seen from the exercising position. In case of problems
contact your Tunturi dealer. The package includes
a silicate bag for absorbing moisture during storage
and transportation. Two people are needed for the
installation. Assemble the equipment as follows:

Open both packages and remove all protective styrox
foam pieces.

HANDRAILS

Secure the handrail mounting pieces to the lower
ends of the handrails, using six hex screws

(A)

on each

mounting piece. Tighten these screws carefully.

NOTE!

The left handrail and mounting piece are marked with a
round red sticker. Secure both handrails to the running
base with two hex screws

(B)

and washers

(C)

and with

one hex screw

(D)

and a washer

(E)

. Be careful not to

damage the wire coming out of the left handrail.

NOTE!

Do not tighten these bolts until the handlebar and
meter have been secured.

HANDLEBAR AND METER

Turn the sliders located at the sides of the handlebars
downward so that you can attach them with another
screw

(F)

through the lower hole of the handlebar.

NOTE!

Attach the screws as loosely as possible. Do not

remove the screws on the sliders. Place the handlebar/
meter unit on the handrails so that the sliders fit the
handrail grooves. Connect the wire coming out of the
left handlebar with the connector in the meter and
push the connected wire inside the handlebar. Push
the handlebar/meter unit onto the handrail ends and
tighten all the hex screws on the sliders.

Be careful not to damage the handgrip pulse wire:
make sure that the wire runs along the middle groove
in the handrail. Fasten the handrail bolts. Remove the
protective film from the display.

Connect the wire coming out of the left handlebar with
the connector located under the running base on the left
hand side. For easier access, tilt the treadmill slightly on
its right side.

SAFETY KEY

The treadmill cannot be used if the key is not properly
installed on the meter; if the key is removed from its
place, the treadmill will immediately stop. Insert the
safety key into the key holder at the left side of the
meter. Ensure that the clip of the safety key is properly
attached to your clothing; as the cord tightens, make
sure the clip does not detach itself from your clothing
before the safety key disconnects from the user interface.

EXTENDED HANDRAILS

Extended handrails can be attached to the T90 treadmill
as accessory. Extended handrails enable the T90 to be
better used for e.g. for rehabilitation training. Contact
your local retailer or Tunturi distributor for further
information.
