13.2 Group Hunting
An internal group hunting number is a common directory number for a
group of extensions. Calls to the group will be indicated at a free exten-
sion in the group.
13.2.1 Answering a Group Call
A group call is answered in the normal way.
13.2.2 Leaving a Group Temporarily
By making follow-me to your own extension number you can leave an
internal group hunting group temporarily. To do that, do the following:
H.323 Phones
1) Lift the handset and wait for a dial tone.
2) Dial * 21 * own extension number #.
The special dial tone and the follow-me indicator icon are turned on.
3) Replace the handset.
SIP Phones
1) Lift the handset and wait for a dial tone.
2) Dial * 21 * own extension number # and tap the Call button.
The special dial tone and the follow-me indicator icon are turned on.
3) Replace the handset.
13.2.3 Reentering the Group
To reenter an internal group hunting group, you have to cancel the
follow-me to your own extension number. To do this, do the following:
H.323 Phones
1) Lift the handset and wait for a dial tone.
2) Dial # 21 #.
The dial tone and the follow-me indicator icon are turned off.
3) Replace the handset.
