Cassette/Substructure
The drawout mechanism allows the breaker to be racked in
four distinct positions:
 CONNECTED
 TEST
 DISCONNECTED
 WITHDRAWN
Position Indicators
Position indicators provide a positive mechanical indication
of CONNECTED, TEST and DISCONNECTED positions of the
breaker.
Rejection Device
A factory-installed rejection feature prevents mis-matching
breakers and cassettes/substructures. This prevents:
 Inserting a breaker with a lower interruption rating into
a higher rated cassette/substructure.
 Inserting a lower rated breaker into a higher rated
cassette/substructure.
