PROCEDURES FOR SINGLE LP 33 Series

7.1.1

Start-up of the LP 33 Series

Before connecting hazardous voltages, make sure that:
x The connection to the electrical system has been performed by qualified personnel;
x The equipment frame has been correctly grounded to the main earth;
x Make sure that mains input protection cover is removed;
x All the panels removed to allow the UPS connection have been correctly reinstalled;
x The UPS switches Q1 and Q2 are OFF (Pos. 0);
x The battery Breaker Q3 in Battery cabinet in OFF position.

This procedure must be performed for the first start-up following the installation, with the UPS
completely switched OFF and not powered.

This procedure presupposes that the load is not yet supplied by the UPS system.

NOTE !

The UPS started-up can be done on battery supply in case the input mains is
unavailable.

To avoid an incidental battery discharge, it is recommended to do UPS start-up when
input mains
is available.

1.

Switch ON the mains power at the input distribution panel.

As a result the UPS performs a self-test and the LCD will show
the following screen:

SELF TEST OK!

NOTE !

In case the alarm “4410 - Mains bypass out of
tolerance”
persists, please contact your Service
Center
.

2. Make connection between battery breaker in battery cabinet and battery terminals in UPS in

case of external battery.
