3.2.2 DISPLAY OF AUTOLOG DATA
Extracted AutoLog data may be displayed and analyzed within Data Scout Advanced. This is accomplished ‘live’ within the
transducer Run window or later using the Playback application. Like live data acquisition, AutoLog data may be displayed in tabular
form, graphical form or both.
Tip
Although extracted AutoLog data can be displayed in tabular form, the most useful way
of displaying this data is to enable the Plot display type.
To configure the Run window to display AutoLog data instead of live data, change the default settings in the Display Options
window. To enter this window, click the Options button in the Display frame located on the main Run window. When the Options
button is clicked a screen similar to figure 3.22 will open. Note that if the Table display type is selected, many of the options of
figure
3.22 will not be displayed since they only apply for plot displays.
To display the extracted AutoLog data, ensure the button labeled AutoLog in the Plot Options frame is selected. Also ensure the box
labeled Display Extracted AutoLog Data is selected.
A more detailed description of all the controls found in the Display Options window is provided in the following section.

3.2.3 AUTOLOG EXTRACT DISPLAY OPTIONS
This control window determines how Data Scout Advanced will behave when AutoLog data is extracted from the Level Scout. The
top frame of the Display Options window shown in figure 3.22
is a typical representation.
The Display Extracted AutoLog Data check box determines if the extracted AutoLog data will be displayed on the Run window. If
checked, the extracted AutoLog data will be displayed in the current display format: table, plot or both.
Tip
If you wish to display extracted AutoLog data, make sure the Display type is set to either Plot or Both and the
Plot Options box has AutoLog selected instead of Trend. AutoLog data that has already been extracted
without this Display type selected, may still plotted by selecting the AutoLog button, the Again button, and
then pressing OK.
