3.2 EXTRACTING AUTOLOG TEST DATA

Data Scout Advanced provides utilities to extract logged data for immediate display or later analysis by other applications. These
utilities can be used to extract data from both completed tests as well as in-progress tests. The applicable forms for extracting and
displaying test data are described in the following sections.

3.2.1 AUTOLOG EXTRACT TEST DATA FRAME CONTROLS

Clicking the Extract Test Data button in the AutoLog frame of the Run window opens the window shown below in figure 3.19.
Before opening this window, Data Scout Advanced queries the attached Level Scout to determine the configuration and status of
each of its sixteen internal test profiles. This configuration information is displayed within the AutoLog configuration windows to
reflect the unit’s current state. Note that this window is very similar to the window used to configure AutoLog tests. The main
difference between them is the controls on the right side of the window. The various components of the Extract AutoLog Data
window are described in detail in the following sections.

The frame labeled Summary of Existing Tests contains a tab for each of the sixteen internal Level Scout test profiles. The number on
the tab reflects the internal test profile number. A color-coded symbol next to the test number on the tab provides a quick visual tool
of the status of each test. The test status definitions and other aspects of this frame are the same as described in Section 3.1.10.
