The Write Extracted AutoLog to .CSV check box is used to tell Data Scout Advanced to write both a normal extracted AutoLog data
file (.atd) and a file in comma separated variable (.csv) format. This optional file allows for direct import of the data by most
spreadsheet applications.

Tip

The .csv format option also appears in the Data tab shown in figure 3.20 of the
Extract window.

Assuming the standard installation directories were used, the logged data files will be stored in folder C:\YSI\DSAdv\Dat. File names
will be of the format:

Model-sn_Testx_yyyy-mm-dd_hh-mm-ss.atd (atd file)

Model-sn_Testx_yyyy-mm-dd_hh-mm-ss.csv (Spreadsheet file)

Model is the unit’s model number. Sn is the unit’s serial number, Testx identifies the Level Scout’s internal test profile number
(Test1-Test16) and the date and time stamp represents the date and time that the data was extracted from the Level Scout.

The Again button is used to force Data Scout Advanced to redisplay extracted AutoLog data in the current display mode.

The Abort button is used to abort an in-process display of extracted AutoLog data. This function may be required if the display of
the selected AutoLog data is requiring an excessive amount of time. This can happen if the file is very large or if the Delay slider
control is set too high.

The slide control labeled Delay between displayed samples (figure 3.23) controls the amount of time Data Scout Advanced delays
between screen updates for each AutoLog data point.

Tip

The Delay slider will only be visible if one of the display options that shows
tabular data is selected.

3.2.4 PLOT OPTIONS

The Plot Options frame (figure 3.24) provides several controls to customize the Run window plots so they are easily read for the
application. The controls of this frame will vary depending on whether the user has selected the plot display option for AutoLog or
live Trend data. Selecting the AutoLog plot display will result in all extracted AutoLog data being displayed in the plot window. The
AutoLog specific controls are described below.
