number (i.e., brackets, asterisks, single quotes, etc.).
5. Update the reorder quantities, unit of measure and primary location
information, if necessary.
6. When you are finished updating information about this entry, click the
Save button found along the bottom of the form to save the entry.
Editing an
Item Record To edit an item in the Item Data form, refer to the instructions that follow:
1. Click the drop-down arrow in the Item # field to display the list of
inventory items. Select the item for editing from the list.
2. Next, click the Edit button found along the bottom of the form–the
screen refreshes.
The Item Master tab is to the front, and the Data fields change from
gray (disabled) to white (enabled). Edit the data in this form, as desired.
(You are able to move between the tabbed sections.)
3. When you are finished editing the data, click the Save button found
along the bottom of the form. The form refreshes, the data clears, and
the Item Master tab is to the front.
If you do not want to save the changes you made to this item, click the
Cancel button found along the bottom of the form.
A Cancel Changes dialog box appears, asking you to confirm canceling
the changes. Click Yes to cancel changes and exit. Click No to return to
the form without canceling the changes.
