To add a new picking order to the system:
1. If the multiple sites feature has been enabled, click the drop-down
arrow in the Site field and select the Site from drop-down menu list that
appears.
2. If automate order numbering is enabled for picking orders, the order
number will be automatically placed in the Order # field. If order num-
bering is not automated, enter the order number in the Order # field.
3. The order date and due date default to today’s date. If you want to
change the order date, enter the new order date in the Order Date field.
If you want to change the due date, enter the new due date in the Due
Date field.
4. Click the drop-down arrow in the Created By field and select the oper-
ator’s user ID from the drop-down menu list that appears, if applicable.
(The Created By field defaults to the login name.)
5. Customers may be viewed by name or by customer ID.
To view customers by name, click the button above the Customer
field, so that Customers By Name is selected. To view customers by
number, click the button above the Customer field so that Customers
By Number is selected. Click the drop-down arrow in the Customer
field, and select the customer for the order from the drop-down menu
list that appears.
