Status Messages: Network Interface (NI)
*TR-08 alarm messages appearing in the alarm or history log have
been received from the far end. If the NI detects one of the above
conditions, it will send the appropriate alarm (if enabled) to the far end
but no message will appear in the alarm or history log.
Message Description
Payload On Payload loopback activated
Line On Loopback off
Loopback Off All loopbacks deactivated
Factory Restore Factory setting restored
Power On Unit powered on
Self-Test Internal self-test performed
TR-08 DL Down* TR-08 data link is down
TR-08 DL Up* TR-08 data link is up
Minor Alarm* Loss of sync, carrier loss, BPV threshold
exceeded, or data link failure.
Major Alarm* Conditions for a minor alarm have contin-
ued for greater than 2.5 seconds.
