EARTH ANCHOR STEP 1
Place the drive rod provided into the cup of the anchor.
Using a heavy hammer drive the anchor into the soil until
6-8 inches of cable remains above the earth. Remove
drive rod.
EARTH ANCHOR STEP 3
Slip one side of the U-bolt (Part #26) through the eyelet
at the end of the anchor cable. Attach the cable to the
base Plate socket with the U-bolt and tighten. Ensure
there is no slack in the cable. Slack can be removed by
wrapping the cable around the base Plate upright
socket.
EARTH ANCHOR STEP 2
Place the Drive Rod through the loop in the anchor
lanyard. Pull upward to set anchor head into the ground.
