(HECTARES)

The following sections describe functions where information is presented in a manner different
from the simple display of a number on the second line.

4.1.2 Speed

The speed display indicates the ground speed of the drill. The ground speed can come
from either a shaft pickup or a RADAR speed sensor. When a shaft pickup is used, the
indicated ground speed will drop to 0 when the implement is lifted as in making a turn.
When a RADAR speed sensor is used, the ground speed will be indicated whenever the
unit is powered on. Plugging in a RADAR speed sensor causes the unit to automatically
switch to using the RADAR speed sensor for ground speed information.

Even if a RADAR speed sensor is used, the ground speed shaft pickup is required for
proper operation of the area displays.

4.1.3 Rate

If MODE is pressed once when the Rate function is selected, the display will enter SCAN mode
and will then cycle through RATE 1

o RATE 2 o RATE 3 o RATE 1…, changing Shafts

once every 15 seconds. If MODE is pressed again, pressing the arrow keys will manually
cycle through the displays.
