The user can press the OK button to acknowledge the alarm, which (if there are no other
alarms pending) results in the silencing of the beeper and the return of the normal display.
After acknowledgement, the indicator icon (or the upper portion of the bargraph in the case of
bin level alarms) will continue to flash for as long as the alarm condition is present.

If more than one alarm occurs at the same time, pressing the OK button will acknowledge each
alarm in order of priority. Line 1 will indicate the highest priority alarm that has not been
acknowledged. When all alarms have been acknowledged, the function indicators for each
alarmed function will continue to flash for as long as each alarm condition persists.

Some kinds of alarms are prevented when the monitor is in a special mode, like Change
Settings mode or ground speed pulse counting mode. Others kinds of alarms will always occur.

Details on the different kinds of alarms are provided in the following sections.

4.2.2 The “In Motion” Condition

The main points of this section are:

x The monitor emits a double beep whenever the “In Motion” condition becomes freshly true

or false. This condition is defined as (speed greater than 2 MPH).

x Certain alarms are inhibited when the “In Motion” condition is false.
