2.17.3. OPERATION
(1) Before startup
1) Set LAN communication and IP address (VG) in the screen of [Config] in [VG Base].
2) Use the same VG model, and the same IP address.
3) If the copied VG and copy to VG is not the same model, the data cannot be transferred.
4) The IP address which is set in No.1 in [Config] of [Base] are reflected.
(2) Startup
1) Connect LAN communication of copied VG and copy to VG.
2) Connect PC to the copied VG and turn on each VG power.
3) Start this program from the [start menu].
* Do not turn off the power of VG during data transmission, otherwise the data may be broken.
(3) Select the transmission data
1) Select the check box of transmitting data.
2) Only checked data is transmitted.
(4) Data reception
Data is received from arbitrary VG.
1) Press the “Receive” button.
2) Selection screen of IP address(VG) is displayed. The IP address that has been set in [Config] of [VGBase] is
displayed.
3) Press “OK” button and data reception starts.
4) The screen shows the data is receiving.
5) When completing the data reception, the reception screen ends.
(5) Data transmission
Data is transmitted to the same VG model that is connected through LAN communication.
1) Select the sending data. If selecting un-received data, the data is not transmitted.
2) Press the “Send” button, and the screen shows the data is sending.
3) When completing the data transmission, the transmission screen ends.
* The first set IP setting is reflected for data transmission. If the first IP setting of VG is set as Class C, the data is
transmitted only to the VGs whose class is set as C.
