After fitting the visor verify that the visor is tightly fixed to the helmet, that it rotates freely and that it locks correctly in the locking
positions.
If this doesn’t happen and the rotation mechanism of the visor doesn’t work correctly, do not use the helmet.
Adjustment: After replacing the part, or if after using the helmet for a long time there should be infiltration from the visor when it is completely
closed, it may be necessary to adjust the mechanisms of the visor.
This adjustment operation must be performed even if there is infiltration from the sides of the visor when it is completely closed.
Remove both the covers from the mechanism and bring the lever (H) in position (A) so that the visor is correctly fitted to the rotation mechanisms.
Loosen the central screws (Y) and the side screws (X) on both sides, without removing them and without disassembling the mechanism.
Completely close the visor. First press on the front part and then on the sides, so that the edge of the visor completely adheres to the entire
visor. Tighten the central screws (Y) without tightening them completely in order to line up the rotation mechanisms. During this phase, it is
possible to slightly rotate the mechanisms in order to further adjust the closure of the edge against the visor. After adjusting, tighten the lower
screws (X) and then the central ones (Y).
Position the covers again.
Fitting the cover – see figure 10
Position cover on the visor so that both the flaps (Z) on the side part
are correctly fitted into the holes (T) on the visor. Press the cover so
that it adheres to the visor and that the flap (U) is fitted in the visor
mechanism.
Bring the lever (X) in position (Y).Repeat the operation on the opposite
side.
