The Up button allows the user to navigate back to a previous folder (used if the
directory structure has been turned off).
The View button will change the way the files are displayed in the file view pane
(detail, large/small icon, list views).
The following buttons are displayed on the Title bar when using one of Quansoft’s Editors:
The Finish button (Results Editor) saves the changes made and closes the
editor.
The Save button will open the Save As window, allowing the user to save the file
under a new name.
The Open button allows the user to browse and select files from a library.
3.3.5 Menu bar functions
Quansoft’s menu bar offers many of the functions found in a typical MS Windows application.
• Click the Quansoft icon to move, maximize,
minimize or restore the screen.
• Click on the menu bar options beneath the Quansoft icon for drop-down menus offering the
following functions:
File: Contains file manager commands. Click the
appropriate function to open, close, delete, re-name or to
check the properties of a particular file. Greyed-out
commands are disabled.
Edit: Contains functions for the cutting, copying or pasting
of selected text or graphics.
