1 - 4 INTRODUCTION

One-Touch keys

These 4 keys (MFC-3320CN only)
or 2 keys (FAX-1920CN only) give
you instant access to 8
(MFC-3320CN only) or 4
(FAX-1920CN only) previously
stored dial numbers.

Shift

To access memory locations 5
through 8 (MFC-3320CN only) or 3
and 4 (FAX-1920CN only) in the
One-Touch keys, hold down the
Shift key.

Photo key:

PhotoCapture

Lets you access the PhotoCapture
Center.

Message Center keys
(FAX-1920CN only)

MC On/Off

Let’s you activate the Message
Center and blinks if you did not play
your voice messages.

Play/Record

Lets you listen to voice messages
stored in memory. Also, lets you
record telephone calls.

Erase

Lets you delete voice messages, all
fax messages or all messages.

Copy keys

(Temporary settings):

Options

You can quickly and easily select
temporary settings for copying.

Quality

Use this key to temporarily change
the quality for Copying.

Fax and telephone keys:

Redial/Pause

Redials the last number you called.
It also inserts a pause in auto dial
numbers.

Hook

Press before dialing if you want to
make sure a fax machine answers,
and then press Black Start or Color
Start
.

Hold (FAX-1920CN only)

Lets you place telephone calls on
hold.

Fax Resolution

Sets the resolution when you send a
fax.

Dial Pad

Use these keys to dial telephone
and fax numbers and as a keyboard
for entering information into the
machine.

The # key lets you temporarily
switch the dialing mode during a
telephone call from Pulse to Tone.

Stop/Exit

Stops an operation or exits from the
menu.

Black Start

Lets you start sending faxes or
making copies in black and white.

Also for MFC-3320CN, lets you start
a scanning operation. (Color or
mono are depending on scanning
setting on your PC)
