Install the Windows software
Software installation types for Windows
The software installer instructs you when to connect the product to a computer or a network. After the
product is connected, the installer gives you the option of finishing the installation without installing all
recommended software.
The following operating systems support the “full” installation of recommended software.
● Windows Vista 32-bit
● Windows Vista 64-bit
● Windows XP, Service Pack 2
The following operating systems support the “minimal” installation, which does not include the
recommended software.
● Windows Vista Starter Edition
● Windows Vista 32-bit
● Windows Vista 64-bit
● Windows Vista Server 2008, 32 bit
● Windows XP, Service Pack 2
● Windows XP 64-bit, Service Pack 1
● Windows Server 2003, Service Pack 1
● Windows 2000, Service Pack 4
Remove software for Windows
1. Click Start, and then click All Programs.
2. Click HP, and then click HP Color LaserJet CP5220 Series printer.
3. Click Uninstall, and then follow the onscreen instructions to remove the software.
