The Camcorder : Basic Recording
✤ BLC works only in REC mode.
✤ Back lighting exists when the subject is
darker than the background:
-
The subject is in front of a window.
- The person to be recorded is wearing
white or shiny clothes and is placed
against a bright background; the
person’s face is too dark to distinguish
his/her features.
- The subject is outdoors and the background is overcast.
- The light sources are too bright.
- The subject is against a snowy background.
1. Set the Power switch to REC.
2. Press the BLC button.
■ BLC icon ( ) will be displayed.
3. To exit BLC mode, press the BLC button again.
■ Each press of the BLC button toggles:
Normal
➝ BLC ➝ Normal.
[ Note ]
The BLC function will not operate in EASY.Q mode.
Using Back Light Compensation Mode (BLC)

✤ La función BLC sólo opera en la modalidad
REC.
✤ Existe luz de fondo cuando el objeto que
se va a grabar es más oscuro que el
fondo:
-
Cuando el objeto está delante de una
ventana.
- Cuando se va a grabar a una persona que lleva ropa blanca o
brillante y se encuentra frente a un fondo muy iluminado.
En este caso su cara estará demasiado oscura para que se
distingan sus facciones.
- Cuando el objeto se encuentra en el exterior y el fondo está
nublado.
- Cuando la fuente de luz es muy intensa.
- Cuando el objeto se encuentra delante de un
fondo nevado.
1. Coloque el interruptor Power en REC.
2. Pulse el botón BLC.
■ Aparecerá el icono ( ).
3. Para salir de la modalidad BLC, pulse de nuevo el
botón BLC.
■ Cada pulsación del botón BLC cambia:
Normal
➝ BLC ➝ Normal.

La función BLC no está operativa en la modalidad
EASY.Q.
