Demo Mode

When the camcorder is connected to a wall

outlet (wall socket) and no operation is

performed for about 10 minutes with the

movie recording mode or the Event View

mode set, a demonstration movie starts

playing.

 On

The demonstration appears.

Off

The demonstration does not appear.

Notes

In the default setting, the demonstration

movie is in the Event Index. If you delete the

demonstration movie, you cannot recover it.

A movie you have recorded will be registered as

the demonstration movie if it satisfies all of the

following conditions.

The movie is protected

The movie is the first one recorded on the

Event Index screen

The movie is saved on the internal recording

media

The movie is recorded when the 2D/3D

switch is set to 3D, or with high definition

image quality (HD) when the 2D/3D switch

is set to 2D

Tips

When you set this item to [On] and touch

, the demonstration starts playing.

If you make one of the following operations, the

demonstration will be suspended. (It appears

again if no operation is performed for about 10

minutes.)

Date & Time Setting

 Date & Time Format

You can select one from 4 types of date and

time format.

 Daylight Savings/Summer Time

You can change this setting without

stopping the clock. Set to [On] to move the

time forward 1 hour.

 Off

Does not set the summertime.

On

Sets the summertime.

 Date & Time

Area Setting

You can adjust a time difference without

stopping the clock. Select your local area

when using the camcorder in other time

zones. Refer to the world time difference

information on page 104.
