Wireless LAN settings

To connect this device to a computer via wireless

LAN, you need to configure the wireless LAN

settings of this device.

You can configure by using the Access Point

connection tool (page 54) to connect via an access

point.

Note

To configure the proxy server settings, use the

access point settings tool (page 54).

To connect via the Wireless

Adapter

Press SETTINGS.

Press

/

to select [Network

Settings], and then press ENTER.

Press

/

to select [Wireless

Adapter], and then press ENTER.

The settings initialization screen appears.

Press

/

to select [Yes] or [No], and

then press ENTER.

If you select [Yes], the Wireless Adapter

connection settings are initialized and this

device can connect to any Wireless

Adapter.

If you select [No], the Wireless Adapter

connection settings stay the same and this

device is able to connect to the same

Wireless Adapter as before.

The settings confirmation screen appears.

Press

/

to select [OK], and then

press ENTER.

[Network Settings] option is set to

[Wireless Adapter].

This device restarts automatically, and

waits for wireless LAN connection.

Note

If you select [Yes] in step 4, you cannot

connect to your Wireless Adapter anymore

unless you register again your Wireless

Digital Audio by using the Wireless Adapter

Manager (page 55).

To connect via an access point

Press SETTINGS.

Press

/

to select [Network

Settings], and then press ENTER.

Press

/

to select [Access Point],

and then press ENTER.

The settings initialization screen appears.

Press

/

to select [Yes] or [No], and

then press ENTER.

If you select [Yes], the network name

(SSID) input screen appears.

If you select [No], the setting confirmation

screen appears. Proceed to step 9.

Press

/

to enter the network

name, and then press ENTER.

You can enter a network name (SSID) of

up to 32 characters long (alphanumeric).

The security setting screen appears.
