Selecting the folder

File

Recorded audio data from the starting point to
the ending point is saved as a file.
The saved data is called a file.

Folder

This is where files are stored. This unit has the
following folders.
• “MIC” folder for microphone recording

(➜ page 12).

• “LINE” folder for files recorded from other

devices connected to this unit (➜ page 30).

• “MUSIC” folder for music (➜ page 25).

Up to 199 files can be recorded in the “MIC”
and “LINE” folders.
Folders are created in the internal memory.
When an SD card (➜ page 24) is inserted,

folders are created in the same way on the SD
card.

In this manual, microSD/microSDHC card is
written as “SD card”.

When the “MUSIC” folder is selected for the
first time after the unit is turned on, the status
indicator blinks, “

” is displayed on the

screen, and the track list is updated.

• When the unit is not in the stop state, press

[STOP g/RETURN].

Press [FOLDER].

Each press:

Total playback time

If no file has been transferred to the
“MUSIC” folder, the current time is
displayed.

If the SD card is selected, “SD” is displayed
on the screen. (See below)

Switching between the internal

Press and hold [FOLDER] for 1 second or
more to select the memory.
