• When the unit is not in the stop state, press
[STOP g/RETURN].

press [q OK] to enter.

Press +, – to select the type of NOISE
CANCEL and press [q OK] to enter.
(The factory setting is “OFF”.)
To exit the setting screen, press
[STOP g/RETURN].
If this function is set to
other than OFF, “NC” is
displayed during playback.

OFF
Does not perform noise
reduction.
HI
Performs a large amount of
noise reduction.
LO
Performs a small amount of
noise reduction.
Reducing noise during playback (NOISE CANCEL)
This function reduces noise during playback to make the target sound easier to hear.
● If you change the playback speed (➜ page 20), NOISE CANCEL will not work.
● During playback of a file with a sampling frequency of less than 16 kHz, NOISE CANCEL will not work.
