Copy

Copy images on the hard disk to a card or a disc

It is possible to copy image data on the hard disk to an SD
card or DVD disc.
Image data copied to an SD card or a DVD disc can be
played back in the player that support the AVCHD standard
(high-definition video camera etc.) in high-definition quality.
• Image data on the media can also be played back using the

AVCHD PLAYER with this software.

Set an SD card or a DVD disc. (Example: Insert it in the
video camera and connect the video camera to the PC.

You cannot record on media in your camera by connecting
a video camera that does not support recording from a PC.
Use the SD card adaptor or the DVD drive on your PC.

Click [Write data to media] button on the [Start
Menu] window that is displayed when starting HD
Writer.

copy source.

] button to select an SD card or a DVD disc

as the copy destination.

• If the drive is not displayed after replacing the SD

card or DVD disc, click [Refresh] button.

Click [Start writing] button.

• When the [Return to Start Menu] button is clicked, the

Copy window closes and the display returns to the
[Start Menu] window. (The data is not copied at this
time.)
