Copy from the media to a PC

Copy the difference from a video camera HDD to a PC
Differential copy is a function that controls the copy
history from a video camera HDD to a PC and copies
only the differential part of data since the last copy to a
PC.

• Checking and unchecking can be switched manually.
• Click the [Refresh] button to reset it to its initial

selected/cleared condition.

It is possible to copy image data on an SD card, a DVD disc, or a video camera HDD to the PC.
When the SD card, DVD-RAM/RW disc used for video camera recording is full, copy the data to the PC to use the same media for
recording again.
Easy edit of the image data saved on the PC can also be performed.

z Set an SD card, DVD disc, or a video camera HDD. (Example:

Insert it in the video camera and connect the video camera to
the PC.

z Before copying the DVD-RW/R/R DL (dual layer on single

side) discs in the AVCHD standard recorded by video camera,
the discs must be finalized with the video camera used for the
recording.

Following data are copied. (These are automatically checked.)

• Video or picture folders that are additionally recorded after

making the previous copy

• Video or picture folders edited with a video camera after

making the previous copy

* When another video camera with an internal HDD is

connected, the previous history is cleared. Even if you
connect the video camera from which the data was once
copied, it is treated as a new one.

Following data are not copied. (These are automatically
cleared.)

• Video or picture folder that has been copied before with the

copied mark [

]

* If they were once copied, the selections are cleared even

though they were deleted from the PC.
